The homemade breadcrumbs is one of the simplest and most practical recipes that we can prepare with our Chefbot. Although we can prepare it perfectly with the bread that has been left hard, to achieve the perfect texture and flavour we should be careful. When we see that we have more bread than we are going to consume and that it starts to get hard or chewy, we can cut it into thick slices and dry it in the oven (slightly open, to help eliminate the humidity) at a temperature of about 90ºC for about 20 minutes (or until it is dry as biscotti, but not toasted).
- 100 g dry sliced bread (better if we have just dried it in the oven)
- A spoonful of dried aromatic herbs to taste (oregano, basil, parsley, rosemary, thyme or a mixture of several)
Step by step preparation
- Put the blade accessory in the glass (all dry). Add the 100 g of sliced bread and the aromatic herbs to taste. Program 1 minute at speed 10 and close.
- Open the Chefbot and make sure that the bread is completely grated, with no pieces. If so, put it in a jar, a zip bag or a well-sealed container and keep it in a cool, dry place (or in the freezer). If there are any pieces left, program 1 minute again at speed 10, close and, when the cycle is over, proceed as at the beginning of this point.
