Lemon slush

The lemon slush is a classic of the summers, but if you had never dared to prepare it at home, now is the time. It won’t take you more than a few minutes and you will be able to prepare it totally to your taste, raising or lowering the amount of sugar, adding some mint or basil leaves or whatever you like.

Ingredients

  • 500 g lemon
  • Skin of 1 lemon
  • 150 g sugar
  • 500 ml water
  • 500 g ice cubes
  • 4 lemon slices for decoration

Instructions

  • Peel the lemons and keep the skin of one of them, well cleaned from the white part. Discard the rest.
  • Remove any remaining white part from the lemons and discard it. Cut the lemons into quarters and remove any seeds.
  • Put the blade accessory in the glass, add the sugar, set at speed 10 for 20 seconds and close the glass.
  • Open the Chefbot, add the lemon peel, program 30 seconds at speed 10 and close.
  • Open the Chefbot, add the lemons, set at speed 10 for 30 seconds and close.
  • Open the Chefbot and add the ice and water. Program 30 seconds at speed 10 and close.
  • Open the Chefbot, divide the slush into 4 glasses and serve immediately, garnished, if desired, with a slice of lemon in each glass.
