VEGAN CARBONARA PASTA WITH SHIITAKE

A good pasta dish never fails. This carbonara is a different version, because, when prepared with soya cream and shiitake mushrooms, it has a unique taste. Suitable for vegans.

Ingredients

  • 200 g noodles
  • 1 onion
  • 2 handfuls of shiitake mushrooms
  • 400 ml soya cream
  • Black pepper
  • Salt
  • Olive oil

Instructions

  • Open the Chefbot and place the stir paddle accessory.
  • Add the shiitakes, the garlic slices and the chopped onion with a generous drizzle of olive oil.
  • Close the Chefbot and activate the manual mode, 8 minutes at 100°C and speed 1.
  • When finished, add the soya cream together with 2 pinches of black pepper and another 2 of salt at 80°C, 15 minutes at speed 1.
  • Meanwhile, cook the noodles in a pot of boiling water for about 6-8 minutes.
  • When the Chefbot is finished, mix the sauce with the pasta and serve hot.
